News from the Field!
I took needed supplies to a new refugee mother and 2 week old baby last Sunday. A group of Akha tribal ladies that I formed into a Thai Country Trim sewing group also came to the temporary home of this new mother and baby (she fled the war in MY). They asked for me to share Bible verses with them so I had one lady read James 3:1-12 in Akha language, by which we discussed how difficult it is to control our tongues! One lady exclaimed, “Oh! We really needed this teaching!” A visiting relative accepted one of the tracts I had brought and showed genuine interest in the Bible study. Praising God for these opportunities to make Him known in the mountain villages of N. Thailand.
